On the beach in the heat of noon when most people like to lay on a beach bed under a beach umbrella, the sand at this time is really hot and walking on the sand at this point of time makes you feel like a monkey on hot bricks. It is here and in many other situations that sandals come in handy. Some people like to feel the sand on their feet and the sandals or the so called floaters allows just that and the moment you want to wash off the sand from the floaters, you can just walk into the ankle deep waves and wash them off. The Sandals the surfers generally use is the one which has a strap on the front instep and from that comes a link that goes to the strap that holds the ankle. This is mostly preferred as these sandals are the ones which hold firmly to your feet and are also comfortable. The sandals used on the beach mostly are the ones which have a rubber or synthetic sole and fabric straps with a foam cushion. Unlike shoes, with sandal you don’t have a problem with sand getting in and making you feel uncomfortable. The only disadvantage with sandals is that as you walk on the rocks and if you have a heavy body set then your sandals may have a tendency to slip off the rocks along the beach and you may get cut. The surfers we have today like to travel as light as they possibly can and so sandals are a better options for them compared the bulkier shoes. Also compared to shoes there is no problem with sandals getting wet because even then they almost as good as dry. |

They say if you have it, then you ought to flaunt it. So for all your surfing champions who are looking not only for the big waves but also for the competitions, then here is a list for you to ponder on when you sit on your board waiting to catch a wave.
