Beach towels were first only plain white towels which people would use by laying it down on the sand and people would lie down on it and soak in the rays. The beach towel has various uses and men and women also use it to wrap it round themselves when they are changing in and out of their beachwear. Just like people like to wear and display their latest clothes, it is same with beach towels.

Beach towels are specially made out of highly absorbing cotton. There is lesser synthetic mixture in these towels so as to render the cotton towel an absorbing nature.

The beach towels come in different sizes for gents and ladies. The ladies towels are more with flowers and pink in color and they are softer. Ladies beach towels also come in other light colors like green, yellow and mauve. The gent’s towels have some more solid designs with some having particular commercial beer advertisements. These towels are often printed only on one side but the more expensive ones are printed on both sides. Even though these towels are made from cotton which is highly absorbent, the cotton used in these towels is extremely light weight. Many of these towels are made in such a manner that beach sand can be easily dusted off it.

• Big waves with a beach and a surfer carving out some waves, the sea shown in most of these towels is blue and the sky is shown to be a lighter shade of blue and also few benches on the beach.
